Grinder pumps of Robot Pumps RS2210 series are designed for pressure sewer systems, packaged pumping units and industrial waste water applications. The design makes the submersible pump suitable for places where high head is needed with a limited quantity of water and large solids are passing the discharge pipes. The cutting device that is installed in the suction opening of the pump shreds all large solids. Plastic bags, clogs and debris is gradually but steadily grinded to small parts that can easily pass through discharge pipes as small as 32 mm. At the same time the acceleration of the total mass of water in the discharge pipes can be fast enough so that the required minimum flow velocities are met, before the pump runs out of water. The rated shaft power of the pumps ranges from 0.65 kW by 1450 rpm to 4.0 kW by 2900 rpm. For the installation of the pumps you can choose between freestanding including support and a 90 degree hose or threaded connection, a header or guide bar coupling.
